Why I believe you should hire a landscape photographer



Over the last 4 years I have focused my efforts on 3 key skills

1. Composition- To me this is what takes an image from a photograph to a work of art. Many photographers take pictures of couples smiling and looking nice and don't look too far past that. Composition is placing the couple creatively within the environment so that all elements work together in harmony to draw the viewer deeper into the image. I love working in scenic landscapes and will direct you to the most photogenic part of the frame.

2. Color- A big part of my process is not only how I expose the film and develop it, but my editing process post dev. I have professionally edited for magazines, galleries, and brands to give you the most exquisite color palette that will transform our session from photographs to art.

3. Location + Light- As a landscape photographer location and light are key. I have spent the last 4 years exploring nearly nonstop to find the most stunning and scenic locations in the west. Most of which have rarely been shot with couples. I have hundreds of locations to choose from whether it be mountains, desert, forest, meadows, ocean, or even cityscape.

Note for my adventure loving couples- I would love to take you hiking into the mountains or off-road to the desert. I want to show you some of my favorite locations to photograph and put together a special shoot or elopement in these secluded and beautiful lands.

Note For my couples who love nature with ease- Many of the locations shown can be accessed easily without hiking or I can drive you to them in my 4runner. There is so much beauty all around and you deserve to be in it🖤
